The Flying Swinger is one of the most iconic and thrilling amusement rides, offering passengers the exhilarating sensation of flying. Seated in suspended chairs, riders experience a smooth, wave-like motion created by the combination of dual rotational movements and the column’s inclination.
During operation, the top segment of the column tilts along a vertical axis, positioning the roof’s rotational plane at a 14° inclination relative to the horizontal plane. This tilting mechanism generates the ride’s characteristic undulating motion. The roof rotates counterclockwise at 17 RPM, while the column rotates clockwise at 6 RPM, resulting in an overall absolute rotation speed of 11 RPM.
The Flying Swinger can accommodate up to 64 seats, suspended by high-quality stainless steel chains. Seats are available in both single and double configurations, each equipped with essential safety features, including a front safety bar and a through-the-leg restraint system.
