This dynamic combination creates a sensation of chaotic, unpredictable motion, enhancing the ride’s excitement.
Designed to fully engage the senses, the attraction is enriched with a variety of special effects, including storytelling elements, immersive sound effects, dynamic lighting, water interactions, smoke, and an earthquake simulation, all working together to heighten the realism and deepen the thrill for passengers.
For an even more advanced and customized experience, the ride can be upgraded with VR technology, allowing visitors to step into entirely new worlds and further amplify the sensation of disorientation and adventure.

The Crazy House (or Casa Matta) has its roots in classic amusement park attractions designed to offer a rotating and swinging motion with a "house in turmoil" theme. At Preston & Barbieri, we developed an innovative version in the early 2000s, introducing advanced motion systems and scenic elements that transform simple rotation into an immersive experience.
Our goal was to modernize a traditional concept with more sophisticated mechanics while ensuring high standards of safety and reliability. Over the years, we have installed the Crazy House in several theme parks, contributing to the spread of this ride format across Europe and beyond.
We have refined the design with new effects and an increasingly customizable aesthetic, allowing the attraction to blend seamlessly into different environments. The integration of electronic technologies and special effects has further enhanced the ride’s appeal, making our Casa Matta a benchmark in the mechanical attractions industry, both for operators and the public. A variant of the Crazy House is our Bus Wash.
