Avio is a thrilling ride that gives passengers a gentle drop sensation through the dynamic up-and-down motion of its arms. The ride features 14 electronically controlled movable arms, allowing for customizable motion patterns that can be adjusted during operation. Each arm supports a vehicle designed to accommodate two passengers, resulting in a total ride capacity of 28 passengers.

How Avio was born
The Avio ride was born in Italy in the post-war period, around 1950, in a time of reconstruction where military materials were creatively repurposed to create new attractions. The first model used the rotating turret of a decommissioned German tank as its central pivot, providing a robust mechanical base for the rotating gondolas.
The true innovation introduced by Avio was the individual hydraulic lift system for each airplane: each vehicle was equipped with a joystick-controlled mechanism operated by the passenger, allowing for independent ascent and descent, realistically simulating the experience of flying.
In its early years, Avio gained great popularity and in the 1960s, it evolved into a fighter jet-themed version known as Telecombat, an attraction that became widely popular at the time and can still be found in some Italian funfairs today. Over the years, Avio expanded beyond Italy, finding its place in amusement parks all over Europe and in various parts of the world.
